why do i stay awake for this? 11-3. think it is safe to assume they won't come back (although i am secretly hoping that because i said that and am going to sleep i will wake to find that the baseball gods have proven me wrong. could happen!)

j's concert went well and i was so proud of him for doing it when everyone gave him so many opportunities to just quit. he's a good kid. we took him out for ice cream (that's what you do after concerts!) and he was beaming.

now, for so many reasons, i am hoping that the rain holds off tomorrow morning. it is supposed to be graduation and if it rains i don't get to be there.
