i know ny fans are rough. but do they really think that booing a player who is struggling as he walks onto the field....before he has even made a play, thrown a pitch, swung a bat is going to help???

how about a little support for the team. they know they are sucking right now. but i can't imagine it helps to think even their own fans aren't behind them. if you don't want to clap fine. sit back drink a beer...or don't even go. no problem. but show a little team spirit. yes, even for the suckiest of them. until further notice they are still mets.

if your kids were struggling with something you wouldn't stand around shouting "you suck!" "we hate you!" would you? so just realize that some of these guys are just like pampered spoiled kids and cut it out.

mets have had much worse years than these. 70s?? anyone??
