scary target check out woman who feels the need to wear gloves all day atta girl'd me. seriously.
i was checking out with my billion dollars worth of impulse purchases that i must have been subliminally convinced to buy (how does target do that?) and the debit card screen thingy wasn't working.
so she decided to help me. first she "hon"d me.

"you aren't doing it right hon. just tap very lightly on the bottom of the button. no hon, that was a little too high. it doesn't understand you."

at this point i am gritting my teeth and remembering that i am in a good mood. chanting to myself that i am in a good mood.
so i finally get the pain in the butt machine to work and she goes,

"atta girl. good job"

i also feel the need to point out thatscary woman is younger than me!
i can take in stride when some lovely grandmotherly woman is condescending in a sweet old lady kind of way. but crazy target lady has got to be stopped before she atta girls again.
