Ok, so around here it isn't Christmas any more and we kick into birthday mode. Jim was completely surprised with his birthday gift which is great. He is off buying all the necessary gear to get him through Dream Week.

I spent last night curled up on the couch watching Pride and Predjudice and thinking that I should have lived then. Of course, the lack of internet might have been a problem. And why aren't all men like Darcy? And if they were would we still complain? I am sure we would find reason. sigh... Now the Jane Austen question of the day: If you could have one or the other, who would you choose: Mr Darcy or Mr Knightley (from Emma)? decisions, decisions...

So today is housecleaning, screaming at kids, cooking, screaming at kids, birthday party, screaming at kids...hmmm. I see a pattern - and a whole month of Winter break is still looming ahead.

you could always scream at the kids for some added fun. hee.

and... i think i'd take Darcy. Just cos he seems like hed share my sense of humor. I need someone who gets my jokes... there aren't many out there who do. :)
