Good thing they don't give grades on holiday organization. I am almost done wrapping but the baking is still on the "if we have enough time" list right behind the laundry and cleaning.
But, as a warped sort of Christmas gift, Rider posted the last of the grades today. All A's and one A-. I'll take it. Of course now I am wishing that I did a little more in French than pray for it to be over.
Kids are getting geared up for Christmas at the same time when we need to leave them to their own devices while we take care of holiday tasks...not a good mix.
It is difficult to let go of expectations of the holidays and just make time to enjoy them a little. Trying to find a compromise.
