Peter and the Sword of Mercy, by Dave Barry and Ridley Pearson

It has been two years since Dave Barry and Ridley Pearson released Peter and the Secret of Rundoon, the third of their Peter Pan prequels (Incidentally, the first of the Barry/Pearson books, Peter and the Starcatchers, is being developed as a Broadway musical). But recently they wrote Peter and the Sword of Mercy. In this book, twenty years have passed. Molly Aster has married George Darling and is the mother of Wendy, Michael and John. As with the previous books, this is a story that attempts to fill in some of the blanks for fans of J. M. Barrie's classic tale, this time incorporating the children who were a part of the Peter Pan tale.

As always, the writing team of Barry and Pearson combine humor and adventure. Although this is a children's story, it is entertaining and enjoyable for readers of all ages. Any fan of action/adventure tales will enjoy the continuation of Peter Pan's backstory.
